Amanda’s garden

A garden is a space reserved for the culture, exhibition, and delight of plants and other natural forms. In the pictures of Amanda Bouchenoire, we can appreciate a beautiful garden, the fruit of her artistic vision and creative effort.

By means of a transparent technique, Amanda captures her encounters with nature and presents to us visual moments unique in their purity. The confidence in her intuition allows her to seize with precision the delicate balance among the flower, light and camera. This is how she continues her exploration of a vision of photography that transcends simple representation and turns it into a tool for the spontaneous edition of colours and natural forms. With patience, she has planted these flowers for our sight and has written with light their shapes so that we can return over and over again to a garden where the flowers transform into landscapes of lustrous symmetry and soft oceans of colour.
